DESCRIPTION OF THE VILLA

Amalfi luxury villa near beach – Il Delfino is a very special villa situated halfway between the picturesque villages of Amalfi and Atrani, and within easy walking distance of both. Perched on the hillside and surrounded by a scented lemon orchard, this exceptional property offers a stunning panoramic view over Atrani, the sea and the coast. Il Delfino is impeccably presented: the interiors are tastefully decorated in neutral shades, with splashes of colour provided by the frescoed, vaulted ceilings of the living room, choice pieces of furniture and the hand-made majolica tiled floors and bathrooms. From the living room, with its views of the sea and Atrani, you can access both terraces, which offer wonderful places to relax, enjoy the sun, take a leisurely lunch or hold a dinner or pizza party. Chefs and catering can be organised for you, of course. The terraces are stunning at night time, when you can gaze down on the lights of the towns whilst enjoying a drink under the stars …!

This villa is in a truly unbeatable and historic location, within easy walking distance of both Amalfi and Atrani, where you will find restaurants, bars, shops and a pebble beach. And not only do you have your own private pool at Il Delfino, you can also use the local hotel’s private pool and beach platform, which is a particular bonus on this stretch of the Costa Amalfitana. You are also welcome to dine at the hotel’s magnificent restaurant just a short stroll from the villa. INSIDER TIPS

Eight hundred years ago Franciscan monks chose to build their monastery on this amazing spot: subsequent owners retained the original features when transforming the building into an exceptional hotel, and added this stunning holiday villa, Il Delfino, very close by. Just a short walk from the centre of both Atrani and Amalfi, this villa makes a fantastic base for a holiday or for celebrating a special occasion. To add to your comfort the hotel facilities are at your disposal (please enquire for details). Amalfi is an excellent point of departure for various trips, to the islands of Ischia and Capri and to the Blue Grotto, for example. Pompeii, Herculaneum, Vesuvius and Paestum would also make great excursions. Or you might prefer to simply stay put and enjoy the sun and the beautiful views from your terrace at the villa.

ACCOMMODATION

The villa is built over three levels and can be accessed via the top level (main entrance) or via the lowest level. The villa is reached from the main road up a 200m public walkway that cuts through a small country road, and includes approximately 100 steps and pathway (porter service available).

Top floor:
Large open-plan living/dining room with frescoed ceilings, French doors to balconies and views over Amalfi, Atrani and the sea.
Kitchen (professional standard), with French doors to main terrace.
Sliding doors from living room lead onto the main terrace, with views over Atrani and the sea, private pool and covered dining. Steps lead up from the living room (care with children) to a double ensuite bedroom (1.6m) with large terrace, views.

(Stairs down from Living room to) Middle floor:
Six ensuite double/twin bedrooms (1.6m or 2×0.8m), all with air conditioning, LCD screen, safe & sea view.
Junior suite comprising ensuite double bedroom, private living room, air conditioning, LCD screen, safe & sea view.
Terrace with hammock: views.

(Stairs down to) Ground/lowest floor:
Four ensuite double/twin bedrooms (1.6m or 2×0.8m), all with air conditioning, LCD screen, safe & sea view.
Private entrance from the main gate.

Grounds:
Enclosed, steeply terraced grounds comprising main terrace with covered dining for up to 30 people; 10m x 4m private swimming pool and deck, external pool shower, additional terrace, wood-fired pizza oven, portable charcoal BBQ. The spectacular garden terrace and its large dining table is superb for family-style meals, and the outdoor lounge is the perfect spot to keep an eye on the kids as they enjoy the magnificent swimming pool.

SERVICES

Included: maid service 5 hours per day (Mon-Fri), Midweek change (Wed), WiFi internet (because of the thick walls, it may not reach every room, but the large common area of the villa has a full signal), air conditioning, winter heating, porter services, parking facilities for 2 cars, use of hotel’s private bathing platform 200m from villa, pool towels. Check-in with porter service available from 3:00pm to 7:00pm. In case of arrivals later than the above times a notice of at least 48 hours is required; in this case porter service is charged extra. For late arrivals between 7.00 p.m. and 10.00 p.m. a late check-in fee of €200 might apply. No arrivals after 10.00 p.m.

Check-Out with porter service available from 8:00am to 10:00am.

Extras: catering, picnic hampers, chef services, pizza parties, concierge service, use of hotel facilities and restaurant, extra maid service. Tourist tax to be paid in cash at check-in. 4 additional beds on request for max 28. REDUCED RATES for smaller groups of max 16 people.
