DESCRIPTION OF THE VILLA

If you are looking for a villa with the most amazing sea views, then Villa Elia on the Amalfi Coast is for you. Sea and sky merge seamlessly from the views at the infinity pool, only interrupted by the Sirenuse Islands right in front of you. Many rooms in the villa also offer sea views.

With air con throughout, Villa Elia offers superb comfort alongside classical and modern paintings and a tasteful collection of antiques. A nod of fun is added with coloured led lights in the swimming pool. It sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms with the option for a double sofa bed in the living room.

The villa, built in 1966, sits in large mature grounds. For the active, an outdoor gym with amazing sea views is sure to inspire.

A host of extra services can be arranged at this villa such as cookery lessons, airport transfers, fill the fridge on arrival service, wine provision options, local chauffeur and chefs.

Take a walk to Saint Elia village from the villa, passing through a wooded valley (Just remember you have to walk back up!)

The closest town to this Amalfi Coast villa is Sorrento, only 2kms away. From here you can take boat trips to Capri and Naples. Pompeii is also an easy day trip. The steep cliffs of the Amalfi Coast are famous worldwide for their charming and dramatic hillside villages. Take a few days out exploring these, stopping along the way for some locally made ice-cream and of course some amazing Italian food.

INSIDER TIPS

This villa is in a stunning position on the cliff-tops with the rare benefit in this region of a large garden with flat lawn area. Loads of outdoor living space, great views of course, and well placed for exploring the Amalfi peninsula from Sorrento to Positano.

First floor / entrance level:
Living/dining area (60 sqm) (47″ Smart TV, Playstation 4 and Bose sound system indoor and outdoor) with 3 sofas, open fireplace, dining table. One of these sofas converts into a double bed for 2 additional people – please request in advance), French doors to terrace with sea views.
Fully equippedkitchen with direct access to patio and outdoor dining.
Double bedroom (1.60m) (TV), sea views and direct access to the outside terrace.
Twin / double bedroom ( 2 x 1m beds or 2m double), garden views.
These two bedrooms share a shower room, WC.

Ground floor:
Double bedroom (1.70m x extra long 2.10m) (TV),sea views, direct access to the deck with hot tub and outdoor sofas, ensuite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath, large shower (1mx1m), WC.
Double bedroom (1.60m canopy bed) (TV), 2 glass picture windows facing the sea, direct access to the hot tub (as above), ensuite bathroom. WC.

10,000 m2 grounds:
Well tended terraced grounds with flowers, mature planting, olive, apricot, cherry and plum trees. Outdoor dining. Infinity style HEATED (at extra cost) swimming pool(salt water chlorination system, 66m2, depth of 1.20m – 1.50m). Pool decking area with sunbeds and umbrellas. Outside summer bbq on the same level as the pool. Gazebo, barbecue, hammock with lovely sea views. Lawn area by pool. Parking area for 2 cars with easy access to the villa. No steps from the parking to the bedrooms.

! Children should be supervised at all times at this villa due to the terraced nature of the grounds. Please see photos to understand that much of the fencing has an open design with drops behind it !

Extras all paid locally in cash (advance notice required):
Pool heating €700 per week – to be requested at least 24 hrs before arrival. Additonal maid service €20 per hour. Private chef starting from € 400 per meal – grocery not included. Airport transfers, local chauffeur. Pizza Party with the new Pizza oven by the pool, €60 per person minimum 4 pax. Breakfast service €700.00 per week grocery not included.
