DESCRIPTION OF THE VILLA

Positano villa with sea views – Perched on a cliffside overlooking the splendid bay of Positano, this pretty villa with air conditioning enjoys an enviable situation for exploring many gems along the Amalfi Coast, both by boat and by car, with the added bonus of having direct access to a beach restaurant via the nearby funicular lift. At a short distance is also a convenient minimarket delivering groceries directly onto your doorstep, on request. There is a another fabulous restaurant within 5 minutes walk.

This Mediterranean setting is simply enchanting and encompasses hibiscus, agavi plants and maritime pine trees. There is a splendid, large terrace; the perfect spot from which to enjoy the spectacular panorama. Inside, the accommodation is on one level ideally arranged with the bedrooms either side of the spacious living area, and all rooms enjoy wonderful sea views.
You will find plenty of restaurants, shops and bars in buzzing Positano close by, but don’t miss out on a visit to Amalfi or to Ravello, both of which are also very special places. One of the best ways to discover the stunning beauty of the Amalfi coast is from the sea itself. Boat trips are available to the islands of Capri or Ischia, as well as to other places on the coast. You can even charter your own boat for the day and discover your very own little cove! There are plenty of places to visit for the day, such as Pompei or Herculaneum, or Mount Vesuvius where you can climb up to the crater and admire the views over the Bay of Naples. Both by day and by night the Amalfi coast boasts an incredible and irresistible charm!

INSIDER TIPS

Set in a delightful  and exclusive complex of small villas with unbeatable views of the coast. The villa is easily reached by a charming funicular, which takes you a short way down the cliffside to the villa – and which also carries guests further on down to the beach restaurant.The use of the private funicular/lift is shared only with guests staying at the nearby hotel and villas. For those who wish to come here by car, private parking is available at extra cost just few metres from the lift. The local minimarket can also deliver your shopping directly to your doorstep, for a small extra charge.

ACCOMMODATION

150 m2 of accommodation all on ground floor.  All rooms have sea views:
Open plan living/dining room with small kitchen, patio doors to sun terrace and outdoor dining.
Two double bedrooms each with adjacent shower room, WC
Two double bedrooms with shared bathroom, WC.

Grounds – children must be carefully supervised in all areas of the grounds at all times.
150m2 terrace overlooking the bay of Positano and the sea, outdoor dining and sunbathing facilities. Private, heatable plunge pool (ladder entry, hydromassage waterfall).

This delightful domaine includes villas Perla di Mare, Il Gabbiano and Il Cormorano which can be rented separately, or together for larger groups of max 20.
It is on steep terrain with pathways and steps joining the villas.
The luxury hotel nearby runs a beach club at the beach below with restaurant where guests of the villas can book a table– ask the concierge to book you in!
Parking is available at extra cost in the nearby hotel’s car park (5 min’s walk). A local public bus stop is 150m from this hotel.
